Wine is a Linux application which provide Windows like environment on Linux Distributions. Every Linux user want to play Windows OS applications on Linux Distributions for fulfill their requirement Wine had released on the Linux Platform for completing the user demand like that they not want to migrate to the windows platform for Windows applications compatibility.Wine uses native source code and core files form Windows and compiles in the Wine software to run Native Windows Application.

Part-A Installation of Wine on Fedora

Step-I (Installing Remi Repository)
# yum localinstall --nogpgcheck http://rpms.famillecollet.com/fedora/remi-release-20.rpm
Step-II (Installing RPMfusion Repository)
# yum localinstall --nogpgcheck http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/fedora/rpmfusion-free-release-stable.noarch.rpm
# yum localinstall --nogpgcheck http://download1.rpmfusion.org/nonfree/fedora/rpmfusion-nonfree-release-stable.noarch.rpm
Step-III (Enabling Remi and RPMfusion Repositories)
# yum clean all
# yum update
Step-IV (Installation of wine)
# yum install wine
Step-V (Configuring and run native windows application using wine)
# winecfg
# wine paint

Part-B Installation of Wine on RHEL / CentOS / Scientific Linux / Oracle Linux

Step-I (Installing EPEL Repository)

on 32 bit

# yum localinstall --nogpgcheck http://download.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/6/i386/epel-release-6-7.noarch.rpm

on 64 bit

# yum localinstall --nogpgcheck http://download.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/6/x64_86/epel-release-6-7.noarch.rpm
Step-II (Installing Remi Repository)
# yum localinstall --nogpgcheck http://rpms.famillecollet.com/enterprise/remi-release-6.rpm
Step-III (Installing RPMfusion Repository)

on 32 bit

# yum localinstall --nogpgcheck http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/el/updates/6/i386/rpmfusion-free-release-6-1.noarch.rpm
# yum localinstall --nogpgcheck http://download1.rpmfusion.org/nonfree/el/updates/6/i386/rpmfusion-nonfree-release-6-1.noarch.rpm

on 64 bit

# yum localinstall --nogpgcheck http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/el/updates/6/x64_86/rpmfusion-free-release-6-1.noarch.rpm
# yum localinstall --nogpgcheck http://download1.rpmfusion.org/nonfree/el/updates/6/x64_86/rpmfusion-nonfree-release-6-1.noarch.rpm
Step-IV (Enabling EPEL, Remi and RPMfusion Repositories)
# yum clean all
# yum update
Step-V (Installation of Wine)
# yum install wine
Step-VI (Configuring and run native Windows applications using Wine)
# winecfg
# wine paint
