Step-I (Download of phpMyAdmin)

First of all download the phpMyAdmin packages from official website.

# wget http://kaz.dl.sourceforge.net/project/phpmyadmin/phpMyAdmin/4.2.7/phpMyAdmin-4.2.7-all-languages.tar.gz
Step-II (Extract the downloaded tarball archives)

After Download the tarball packages. It is required to see those content so it is extracted.

# tar -zxvf phpMyAdmin-4.2.7-all-languages.tar.gz
Step-III (Move to the extracted phpMyAdmin folder to the www directory)

Then extract the files which is exacted at a desired location. Moving to its directory as per all files.

# mv /phpMyAdmin-4.2.7-all-languages/* /var/www/html/phpMyAdmin/
Step-IV (Installation of PHP and PHP-MySQL)

The installation of PHP and PHP MySQL done by simply running the commands.

# yum install php php-mysql
Step-V (Restart the mysqld and httpd Services)

As soon as installation complete the services. It is need to be restarted.

# service mysqld restart
# service httpd restart
Step-VI (Configure the phpMyAdmin)

Finally Change the default directory.

# cd /var/www/html/phpMyAdmin/
# cp config.sample.inc.php config.inc.php
# vi config.inc.php
$cfg['Servers'][$i]['auth_type'] = 'cookie';
$cfg['blowfish_secret'] = 'auth_type';
Step-VII (Install the php-mcrypt)

As soon as it can be done by installing the php-mcrypt.

# yum install php-mcrypt
Step-VIII ( Login to the phpMyAdmin portal by opening Web browser)

Finally phpMyAdmin dashboard is seen into web browser. It is working properly.
